At Woodcrest Preschool, we believe that our early learning program prepares children for success in academics, in social settings, and with emotional intelligence. At Woodcrest children experience a structured, nurturing environment where children are instructed by qualified teacher who love working with little ones. Children learn to share, follow instructions, take turns, and share the teacher’s attention with peers. We pride ourselves on our socially and emotionally curriculum created by Dr. Becky Bailey. The program teaches children how to self regulate, cooperate with others, respect friends and teachers, and solve problems creatively.

Woodcrest preschool has provided high quality childcare to families living in the San Fernando Valley and Tarzana for over 50 years. Our preschool is located on the campus of Woodcrest Private School between Venura Blvd, and Tophams St. on the north side of the 101 fwy. Woodcrest offers children a warm and loving environment where they are able to explore, innovate, and create while learning foundational skills in reading, math, and writing. A Woodcrest preschool graduate is filled with self confidence, is a strong communicator, happy, and possesses the skills to succeed in kindergarten.
